Lakewinds Natural Foods is a full-service cooperative grocery serving the West metro suburban Twin Cities for over 30 years. The heart of the co-op has always been the people involved. Lakewinds enjoys a high level of commitment from its over 10,000 members, other customers, staff and board of directors.

Lakewinds offers unique products with an emphasis on organic and locally grown foods, fair trade products, and environmentally-friendly wellness and household goods. We also specialize in foods that meet the needs of people with particular dietary concerns, such as wheat, gluten, dairy, soy and other food allergies.

Minnetonka
The Lakewinds’ flagship store boasts 18,000 square feet, complete with extensive salad bar, deli, meat, produce and wellness departments and spacious aisles. Its deli features an oak wood-fired oven, where artisan chefs cook specialty wood-oven pizza.

An expansive home goods department offers low-VOC paints, garden supplies, books, natural clothing and linens, therapy lights, juicers, imported kitchen utensils, and garden supplies. We have free Wi-Fi in the deli seating area.

Chanhassen
The Chanhassen store opened in December 2005. Just as spacious as our Minnetonka location, this store was built to grow the co-op and make shopping more convenient for customers in the Western suburbs.

An in-house bakery allows us to create fresh artisan breads and cinnamon rolls, filling the deli with the irresistible smell of homemade bread. Our shelves are laden with specialty goods from around the world, as well as local products from Minnesota and the Midwest. The deli maintains self-serve stations with hot soups, entrées and a gourmet olive and salad bar. Large displays of fresh flowers provide a suitable backdrop for an abundance of certified organic produce. The beautiful deli seating area offers free Wi-Fi for customers with laptops. 

Anoka
This intimate neighborhood store features a variety of fresh and organic produce, packaged grocery items and refrigerated goods. Bulk items include spices, coffee, seeds, nuts, grains, and dried fruits. As in all of our stores, a wide selection of health and wellness products is available, with herbs, homeopathic remedies, supplements and natural body care items.
