Cinnamon-and-Sugar-Dusted Almonds


1/3 pound almonds, raw
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
2 tablespoon water

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the almonds in a single layer on a baking tray and roast 15–20 minutes. In a skillet over low heat, melt butter. Add sugar, cinnamon and mix well. Add water and mix well. Add toasted almonds and toss to coat. Sprinkle with additional sugar and cinnamon to taste. Serve warm.
